Data processed

Account: name, email address, password (hashed), language, organization and role.

Usage: scanned URLs, scan results, decisions, imported proofs, log of sensitive actions, support and service requests (contact email, message).

Security: IP addresses are only kept as keyed hashes, to limit abuse.

Payment: handled by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service (contract), security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest), invoicing and accounting (legal obligation), service notifications (contract).

Retention

Account data and an organization's scans: for the life of the account (deleted with the account). Scans made without an account: 90 days. Security logs: 12 months. Support and service requests: 3 years. Accounting records, where applicable: 10 years. These deletions run automatically every day.

Processors

Hosting: OVH SAS (France). Email delivery: OVH SAS (licenscope.com domain mailbox). Online payment: Stripe, only once paid plans are opened. These providers act under their contractual data protection commitments (Article 28 GDPR).

Cookies

Licenscope sets only two functional cookies: the authentication session and a language preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE). No advertising tracker or cookie-based analytics is used; usage statistics are aggregated daily counters with no identifier.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Data export and account deletion are available under "My account". You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
